Prayers That Get Answered

Google Images Tucked away in John 15 are two of the verses that most of us claim regularly. We like the idea of being able to ask God for something and then receive it from Him. And we are thrilled to know that He not only delights to answer our prayers but that He is perfectly capable of doing so, often giving us more than we asked for. It is important to note that both of these "ask and get" verses are connected to an equally important truth. “ If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples ” (John 15:7, 8). “ You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last.
